NEWARK, N.J. --- Captain Jerrod Laventure led all scorers with a pair of goals as the Jersey Express continue to dominate at home with their fourth consecutive victory at Lubetkin Field, defeating Bermuda 4-0 on Sunday evening. 
Laventure was aided on the evening by fellow forward Joseph Ovenseri who assisted on Laventure’s first goal of the night in the 26th minute, then added his own tally a minute later off a turnover by the Hoggies. The hosts led by two goals after the first half, and outshot the visitors by a 2-to-1 margin, 8-4.
In the second half, the Express scored two more times as newcomer Kadeem Decres added his first tally of the season, just three minutes after coming in off the bench in the 60th minute. Laventure added the final goal of the night in the 80th minute.
Netminder Ryan Meara made five saves for his sixth shutout of the season and fifth in a row.
Jersey (6-1, 18 pts.) will get back on the pitch on Saturday night as they travel to Queens, N.Y. to take on the Brooklyn Knights from the Met Oval at 7 p.m.
